Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use f-cad.co.uk, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or voice control.

What we have done

  • Pages are built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA and checked with automated tests (axe-core) on every page, at desktop and phone widths, before each release.
  • Every page has one main heading, a logical heading order, named landmarks and a link to skip to the content.
  • Every image has a text alternative; drawings and animations are described in words.
  • Every animation has a pause button and stops by itself; with reduced motion turned on, figures show a still picture.
  • The site works with a keyboard alone, the enquiry form says what needs correcting next to each field, and text can be enlarged to 200% without loss.

Known limits

The animated figures show engineering ideas visually; their meaning is given in their text descriptions and captions, but some detail in them is only visual.

Tell us about a problem

If anything on the site is hard to use, please tell us through the enquiry form or call us free on 0800 246 1012, and we will put it right or give you the information another way.
